Brazil Visa Services Resuming from 17th August

COVID-19 is still here but world has to adjust to “new normal”. Despite having record number of daily cases everyday and over 750,000 active cases in Brazil the country is welcoming the tourists.

Brazilian Embassy in Islamabad is resuming their visa services for limited number of daily applicants.

Consular section for visa seekers will open from 17th August 2020 but there’s a catch. You need to email your complete documents and your purpose of visit to Brazilian Embassy’s email address (consular.islamabad@itamaraty.gov.br). If your application is complete they will schedule your appointment on a given slot.

The slots are limited to 5 per day, therefore make sure your application is complete when you email them. You need to visit the embassy on the scheduled appointment day. Staff will not allow those without appointment to enter the embassy.

“The Consular Section will be reopened on Monday, August 17th, 2020, for personal attendance previously scheduled by e-mail, up to the maximum of 5 (five) attendances per day.
The limitation of the daily attendances is due to the Coronavirus outbreak, in order to guarantee the safety of the applicants and of the staff of the Embassy.”
