Fresh Water Lake at Tasik Dayang Bunting

The driver came to pick us up quite early in the morning. The place where the trip was to start was about 30mins from hotel. We put the stickers that they gave us on our chests. There was a little briefing about security before entering the speedy-boat. There were total six people in our boat; us, two Japanese and two Chinese.

It took about 30 mins to reach Tasik Dayang Bunting – the place where fresh-water lake is located right inside the island’s valley which is totally cut-off from sea-water.

We had to climb up and then down a few stairs to reach this lake…

accompanied by some monkeys…

It was one hot day and way too humid. We were sweating like crazy. We took our drinks and then for some time sailed the solar-powered cum paddled boat in fresh water lake. Two hours was the time allotted to us for this island. We went back to our speedy-boat after about 2 hours.
